Dean of the Faculty of Law of TSU at an international conference held in Kazakhstan

On October 2–3, 2025, Associate Professor Tamar Zarandia, Dean of the Faculty of Law at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, participated in an international scientific conference held in Almaty, Republic of Kazakhstan.

The event was organized through the joint cooperation of the Scientific-Research Institute of Private Law at Caspian University, Kazakhstan International Arbitration LLC, and the law firm “Zanger.” The conference was hosted by the Scientific-Research Institute of Private Law at Caspian University.

The conference, titled “Time and Space in Civil Law,” was dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Scientific-Research Institute of Private Law at Caspian University and the 20th anniversary of the Kazakhstan International Arbitration.

Within the framework of the conference, Tamar Zarandia delivered a presentation on the topic “Terms in Civil Law,” which explored the legal aspects of time limits in civil law from a comparative legal perspective and included an analysis of international practice.
